About H360

Hunter360 was born out of my own necessity to provide many things to many people. With the overly sensationalised and negative news that continuously bombards us with dour and upsetting stories, one arena that this blog will hopefully fit. . . is the 'feelgood' factor, or the 'panda' story.

For myself, this blog will give me the opportunity to familiarise myself with the Hunter, and get to know the people who make it that way. Incidentally, my lack of local knowledge was embarrasingly evident during a recent conversation (read history lesson!) with Mr John Tate, the Lord Mayor of Newcastle (2011). I promised him that I would endeavour to strengthen my local knowledge of this interesting part of the world.

Further to this, Hunter360 will eventually provide a library of things to do, see and appreciate around the Hunter Region of  NSW, as well as provide some great photography.

Your help will come in the way of suggestions; that is good quality suggestions of those hidden jewells that lie among us, here in the Hunter.

In order to continuously provide you with great and current content, we are looking to you for some input to our humble blog.

In a nutshell, all we are asking is that you inform us of any outstanding place, person....or thing that you believe needs highlighting in order for it to add a shine to our already gleaming Hunter Region.
